Traffic on Upper James Street south of Ryckmans Corners will be reduced to one lane in each direction until July.
The City of Hamilton will restrict the lanes starting Monday, March 15, between Twenty Road and Alderson Drive to complete sanitary forcemain construction on Upper James.
In a release, the city said that motorists and HSR buses can expect delays through the area. The release also said that business and residents in the area will be impacted by noise, dust or water service restrictions.
The construction is expected to take four months to complete, weather permitting.
