Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis has agreed to join the New York Jets on a three-year, $37.5-million deal that includes $27 million guaranteed, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Davis broke out last season, racking up a career-high 984 yards and five touchdowns on 65 receptions. The 2017 fifth overall pick tested the open market for the first time this offseason after Tennessee declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract prior to last year.

Overall, the 26-year-old averaged 59 catches for 815 yards and three touchdowns per 16 games through four years in Tennessee.

The Jets also addressed the wide receiver position during last year's offseason, signing Breshad Perriman and drafting Denzel Mims in the second round. However, Perriman caught just 30 passes last year, while Mims was held to 23 receptions and 357 yards through nine appearances as a rookie.

Veteran wideout Jamison Crowder has now led New York in receiving in each of the last two seasons. He amassed 699 yards and six scores on 59 catches in 2020.

Davis is the second notable pass-catcher to leave the Titans this offseason, as tight end Jonnu Smith agreed to a multi-year deal with the New England Patriots on Monday.
