How to run lotus version? 98 using wine with ubuntu

I would like to know that i can run my lotus files- now on latest windows version; without any delays or problems on ubuntu (latest version) ?
I seem to see many problems with using "wine" to think it my be difficult if not very problematic to make it worthwile to even try !
Reason is i am really fed up with windows now trying to control my computer!'
it seems windows now trying to take over google with there "edge" program; and repeatedly interfearing in my access to the internet etc!
So i want to get away from using windows compltely while still using lotus which i have many business and income tax prgrams i use every year!
So can anyone help with installing "wine" so it will work easily???
