Cannot input password with Colemak layout

This happened recently. Suddenly I can't input any password on terminals or KDE lock screen with Colemak layout even though I typed the password correctly. I have to change to the default US layout. This never happened before. The strange thing is it happened to all my machines with different distros: openSUSE 15.2, Tumbleweed, and BunsenLabs.
I don't what caused it. Hope somebody could help.
