Report: Will Fuller agrees to 1-year deal with Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins agreed to a one-year deal with former Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The deal is reportedly worth more than $10 million with significant upside, Rapoport adds.
Will Fuller's contract with the Dolphins:
- Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 19, 2021
Signing bonus: $9,635,011
Base salary: $990K
Incentives: Up to $3M
Fuller will miss the 2021 season opener as he serves the final game of a six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Prior to the ban, the Notre Dame alum hauled in 53 receptions for 879 yards and eight touchdowns in 2020.
A first-round selection in the 2016 draft, Fuller's speed provided the Texans' offense with a downfield threat. He racked up 209 receptions, 3,110 yards, and 24 touchdowns through five seasons.
The 26-year-old joins a Miami receiving corps headlined by wideout DeVante Parker and tight end Mike Gesicki. The Dolphins could add to their offensive arsenal via the draft with four picks in the first two rounds.
Fuller gives quarterback Tua Tagovailoa a dynamic option in the passing game. The Dolphins averaged 233.5 yards per game through the air during his rookie campaign.
