Rams agree to 1-year deal with DeSean Jackson
The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to terms with wide receiver DeSean Jackson on a one-year deal, the team announced Sunday.
The financial details have not yet been disclosed.
The 34-year-old adds a speed threat to head coach Sean McVay's passing game, which has predominantly relied on the catch and run capabilities of Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. Jackson will be catching passes from Matthew Stafford, who joined the Rams via trade from the Detroit Lions.
The veteran wideout is now joining his fourth team in his decorated 14-year career. The Long Beach, California, native gets to come home after two stints with the Philadelphia Eagles and stops with the Washington Football Team and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jackson hasn't played much of late, having been limited to eight games in the past two seasons due to various leg injuries.
The California product has 10,656 yards for his career and 56 total receiving touchdowns.
