Hi, I'm running the following system:
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS x86_64
Kernel: 5.8.0-48-generic

I'm trying to run Vox Tone room software for my VT40X Guitar Amp but the USB connection for the software to connectisn't working (this has not always been the case - it WAS working last week but I have re-installed Ubuntu and it hasn't worked since).

cat /proc/asound/cards output:

0 [NVidia_1 ]: HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia
HDA NVidia at 0xf5080000 irq 35
1 [X ]: USB-Audio - Valvetronix X
VOX Amplification Ltd. Valvetronix X at usb-0000:03:00.0-7, full speed
2 [NVidia ]: HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia
HDA NVidia at 0xf7080000 irq 80
3 [Generic ]: HDA-Intel - HD-Audio Generic
HD-Audio Generic at 0xf7500000 irq 82
4 [Camcra ]: USB-Audio - USB Live Camcra
Sonix Technology Co., Ltd. USB Live Camcra at usb-0000:03:00.0-2.4, high speed

This is the error message I'm getting in the logs:

Failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="1" name="usb-VOX_Amplification_Ltd._Valvetronix_X-00" card_name="alsa_card.usb-VOX_Amplification_Ltd._Valvetronix_X-00" namereg_fail=false tsched=yes fixed_latency_range=no ignore_dB=no deferred_volume=yes use_ucm=yes avoid_resampling=no card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""): initialization failed.

I am at a loss after reading the pulseaudio documentation because I can't find a solution there and internet searches haven't been applicable results.

Can anyone help or point me to where I can find that help?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=IcSGbs_4sX0:OQj6Yvuihgs:F7zBnMy latest?i=IcSGbs_4sX0:OQj6Yvuihgs:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=IcSGbs_4sX0:OQj6Yvuihgs:gIN9vFwIcSGbs_4sX0
