Greetings fellow users & enthusiasts from a new convert

Hello everyone, my name is Sean and my relationship with using Linux has been infrequent over the years, from a decade ago where I just wanted to satisfy my curiosity and investigate eye opening apps such as Cinelerra, Kino and others to try and produce multimedia content on a very low budget. I could even say the PC in question was a fine example of a pre-built potato if I've ever seen one.

However, the year is 2021 now and over the past year of observing strict lockdown rules, I've become passionate about refurbishing old PCs back to working order and now I am looking for the ideal Linux distros to suit various kinds of hardware configurations. Admittedly I'm still fairly new and learning about various distros little by little each day, but I feel I would learn a great deal from being here and getting to know you all, as well as sharing some of the Linux projects I have undertaken.
