Wanted federal offender known to frequent Hamilton
The provincial repeat offender parole enforcement (ROPE) squad is looking for a federal offender wanted for a breach of his statutory release.
Anthony Sears is serving a five year and six month sentence in connection with a fatal crash in Brantford that killed a 94-year-old woman in 2016. He was convicted of dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing bodily harm and possession of a narcotic.
Police said he is known to frequent Peterborough, Brantford and Hamilton.
Sears is described as a 32-year-old Indigenous man, five-foot-ten, 190 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos, including: GOOBER" and a star on his neck, CHLOE" and a rose on his left hand, a money bag on his right hand, STEEL CITY" on his abdomen, and tattoos in the area of his left eye.
