Is it possible, to clone baremetal server into EC2?

Hi,
Since last 7 years, I'm managing old baremetal server runing Debian7 with LAMP. Currently uptime is about 4years, and I am very scared to reboot it as many upgrades comes, and also this hardware is not the newest one.
Taking above into account, I would like to ask you, is it possible to create some kind of machine snapshot / image, which I can use to run the website on EC2?
PS: I know I need to update the OS, and some ppl are working on new version of the website using completely different programming language (moving from php into nodeJS/react), but this will take some time, and currently, I am a bit scary about my current host, so I will be much more calm if I've a clone, which I can run into AWS near my other new hosts using IAC (just in case of my current server failure).
