Police investigating after man found dead on side of road in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Police are investigating after a man was found dead on the side of a road in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Monday morning.
Niagara Regional Police said they were called to the area of Lakeshore and McNab roads at 7:18 a.m. to assist paramedics.
When they arrived, they found a deceased adult male on the side of the road. An investigation determined he had been struck by a vehicle.
Police said Lakeshore Road, between McNab and Stewart roads, will remain closed as the investigation continues by detectives with the collision reconstruction unit.
