Beautiful Helicopter Footage Taken Above Chicago in the Early Morning Hours Over the Course of Four Days
by Lori Dorn from Laughing Squid on (#5GBED)
Chicago helicopter photojournalist Craig Shimala captured quietly beautiful footage of his beloved city during the early morning hours over the course of four days in between news assignments. This 42 minute view from above shows the city in quiet repose just before it bursts into life for the day.
I work as a Helicopter Camera Operator for various news stations in Chicago. This is 40+ minutes of footage I captured in between news hits working the morning news for four days last week.
