You can expect the air to waft thick with the aroma of outdoor barbecue and the promise of summerlike temperatures this weekend as Hamiltonians and the province ride out another springtime stay-at-home order.
Environment Canada is calling for a mixed bag of spring weather with Saturday being the day to look forward to.
The forecast shows mostly sunny skies and a 40 per cent chance of afternoon showers. The weather service is predicting a daytime high of around 26 C, feeling like 27 C with the humidex. There is even a summerlike risk of a thunderstorm Saturday.
Slap on the sunscreen if you go outdoors. The expected UV index is 7 or high.
Breaking up the beautiful April weekend, cloudy skies and a 70 per cent chance of rain could fall Sunday. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-teens with the cloudy skies.
