Wireless Adaptor For Latest Linux Kernel?
by michael diemer from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5GD89)
I have just installed Manjaro XFCE 21, which uses kernel 5.10.23-1. I'm trying to find a way to connect it wirelessly. The machine is a bare-bones i7. Chipset is Gigabyte GA-H77 DS3H. It does not have on-board wireless capability. The machine is a dual-boot with Windows 7, which does have wireless, via an older Netgear USB device, which won't work with an up-to-date Linux system.
The Manjaro forum would not allow the question, so I'm asking here. I have found some devices that work with the 4.x kernels, but I don't know if they would work with the 5.x kernels. Does anyone have experience with what devices work with the latest kernels?
Thank You,
Mike
