Woman, 21, and man, 36, arrested in connection with baby boy's death after child found in supermarket car park

Two people have been arrested after a newborn baby was found dead in a supermarket car park, West Midlands police have said. A 21-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the baby boy's death and are currently in custody.

Police issued an appeal for information that might help trace the baby's mother after the child was discovered by a member of the public outside a Morrisons in Bilston, Wolverhampton, on Sunday morning.
