Updating the official Slackware website and general contributions

Hi All,
I looked around for a bit and could not find anything via web search or here on LQ so I just wanted to ask if any one has attempted to update the official Slackware website.
I'm an aspiring web developer and I would be more than happy to contribute with updating the official Slackware page. More specifically I would like to make it responsive so that when I check the changelog for current I can do so from my phone.
Not sure how the backend of it is setup but I was thinking of simply making it responsive so that the user experience on the site is a bit better and remains modern enough to view on non-desktop screens without a lot of zooming.
In general I was hoping to know how one might be able to contribute on "smaller" things like this to this project.
