Ubuntu 20.04 ssh error "Unable to connect to X server"
by NuxIT from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5GSYN)
I've been having some issues with SSH on Ubuntu 20.04 since installing sshd / Openssh server.
I'm getting this error when I connect to my ssh session. I've searched around and I'm not finding much on this error which is perplexing.
This is causing issues with my xrdp tunnel setup and windows complains about invalid certificate when I connect to the ssh/xrdp tunnel port.
Thanks for any ideas or help!
This is the error I get>
Last login: Sun Apr 18 17:14:36 2021 from 10.16.0.21
Unable to connect to X server
I already tried completely removing xrdp and sshd and re-installing but I'm still getting this error.
Do you think this error is being caused by my openssh install or xrdp? I was surprised completely reinstalling didn't help.
