-current touchpad buttons not working

Fresh, clean, metal, full install (Mon Apr 19 21:40:04 UTC 2021) on more than one Dell laptop.

These are not new laptops at all, 2x '07/08 Intel Inspiron 1520's and a '09 AMD Studio 1536. I don't care about the 1536, it is boxed up and packed away in the attic so I have limited info from it. I would rather focus on the 1520's since I use them all the time. However, I did notice that the right button works on the 1536, but the left does not. While neither button works on the 1520's.

I have tested on my Toshiba Satellite P775, and everything works fine. It only seems to affect my Dell's.

This has been going on for at least a couple of updates and I'm afraid that it is related to the kernel but not sure.

The touchpad works fine, I can move the pointer and select/open items using the touchpad, just not the buttons.

Note: Areson Inc. 2.4G Receiver is a generic mouse that I have tried with and without, nothing else is connected.

I have also tried "depmod -a" and a immediate reboot, also no help.

Any help is appreciated, and I can get the 1536 out if absolutely necessary.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=CUcWcINfNJ8:xktil3AYckQ:F7zBnMy latest?i=CUcWcINfNJ8:xktil3AYckQ:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=CUcWcINfNJ8:xktil3AYckQ:gIN9vFwCUcWcINfNJ8
