So hopefully the version that will be shipped in Slackware 15 will be fully accessible with speech and Braille

Whats accessible so far in Plasma (the KDE Desktop component itself) : - the desktop icons - the main menu / start menu (and its alternatives) - the task-switcher / Window Switcher - some parts of KCM - KRunner (the powerful search and execute dialog similar to ALT + F2 in mate, but a hell more powerful) - Klipper, the clipboard-manager (but needs in the current version still bound to an shortcut by yourself) whats still bad? - KCM is not completely accessible (special the network dialog, you cannot choose a WIFI i.e. ); but most of the tasks could be done using other tools to work around this situation currently. (Work in progress) - Performance needs tweaked - Wayland doesn't work yet properly, also if an initial implementation exists. - Desktop-Notifications - Tray icon is not keyboard navigate able (Work in progress) - sddm loginmanager |
