[SOLVED] Firefox package maintenance in Slackware?

On Mon Mar 15 19:37:28 UTC 2021 in Slackware Current ChangeLog, Pat did an announcement regarding Firefox package maintenance.
The summary of the announcement is:

Slackware 14.2 the latest Firefox package is dated on 24-Aug-2020 18:29 and the version is: mozilla-firefox-68.12.0esr-x86_64-1_slack14.2.txz
Does it mean Firefox package is unmaintained or considered as secure?
