xorg or wayland?

Hello All
I need advice on whether I should choose Xorg or Wayland for Fedora 34. In Fedora 33, I'm using Xorg because I need Nvidia just for one specific application (slowmoVideo).
While reading what's new in Fedora 34, I came across the features like Gnome 40 and GTK4. I'm not an expert on display managers, and I'm not sure whether Xorg is taking advantage of these new features or not. The other apps I mainly use are LibreOffice, WordPress, Gimp, Inkscape, Basic video editing, KVM virtualization, Web browser, and vlc for watching videos. I don't play games.
I feel as though Nvidia is holding me back from using any new features.
Will Wayland with the new GTK4 bring any new improvements to the overall desktop experience for the app I use? If so, I'm ready to dual boot with some other lightweight Linux distro with Nvidia drivers where I can use that 1 app that needs Nvidia card. For the rest, I can use Fedora 34 with Wayland.
Please recommend.
Thanks
