Linphone account log in problems
by jones5 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5H2HE)
I have recently installed Linphone (Android 4) on my HTC desire 510 phone and the software seems to work ok. I can actually make a linphone to linphone address call and possibly a linphone to standard mobile number (still to finalize that). However, trying to gain access to my linphone accounts is near impossible. Linphone website ask for login name and password but does not accept the details despite meticulous recording of these. Also when requesting a new password they do not send the sms confirming verification?
Have others had such problems with Linphone admin? It seems an excellent idea to be able to use VOIP to have free comms over wi fi and even to be able to call standard numbers for little money through a third party. However, the admin and the set up software and account explanation at Linphone website seems a little thin? Maybe just me so am interested if any others had similar problems. If so, I can the wait until they sort it out rather than struggle on. Is this really a beta system being tried out or is it supposed to be tried and tested?
