HowTo setup hp keyboard KBAR211 to swiss-german in Debian10? (it behave like standard german qwertz for now)
by floppy_stuttgart from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5H5T0)
Hello,
I have such a keyboard switzerland type. Unfortunately it behave like a standard german qwertz keyboard (example: @ at the Q key) and not as it should (example: @ with "alt-gr" + "2").
How to change the setup?
Keyboard norm is there under "Schweiz" https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tastaturbelegung
Exact the same can be seen there https://www.ebay.de/itm/274738223876...6&toolid=10001
I have tried
Code:/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure console-data with parameters
swiss
german
latin1
dont change anything in X or at the browser.
Code:/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration with parameters
105
german (swiss)
standard
no compose
no
dont change anything in X or at the browser.
Any help is welcome how to make the changes activ and permanent.
