A Superuser issure

Hi Folks:),
I am using Linux distributed from Scientific Linux version 7.9.
I was in a superuser mode with a command prompt "#", I tried to switch to "$" prompt, but after I click the upper right corner in the GUI to change I got a screen in the attachment.
Could anyone tell me how can I go back to normal GUI ?
