unfocused desktop keep program open (non minimized) @kde-neon

Hi,
I screen record lectures broadcasted over zoom.
I would like to screen record on one virtual desktop and work on another desktop during the recording.

I have tried it: Jack takes the sound from zoom directly to the screen recorder and that works good even if I work on the other virtual desktop. The video on the other hand does not work good.

When i switch from the desktop that records to the one that I want to work on, the recorder starts to record just the desktop wallpaper.
To me it seems as if the windows get minimized on the screen recording desktop when moving to the work desktop.

The best would be if it were possible to make a window persistent open (i.e. not minimized) on the recording desktop even if I move to the work desktop, is this possible?

Alternatively is it possible to extend my desktop into virtual space and put the window there, open but out of sight?
or perhaps it is possible to create a virtual monitor that I can put the screen recorder on?

Or do some other suggestion to let me work and screen capture at the same time?
