Hamilton-made cannabis topical headed for Ontario Cannabis Store

A Hamilton-made cannabis topical - Shine by Earth Kisses Sky - will be available from the Ontario Cannabis Store on May 12. Creators Ashley Short and Tijen Yalchin say the product is a skin salve, formulated to hydrate and soothe skin; relieve acne, swelling and rashes; and can also be applied as a hair conditioner.

Earth Kisses Sky has been selling a similar formula without cannabis under the product name Skin, inviting users to add their own weed oil. The new product, Shine, represents the company's entry into the legal cannabis market. It includes 150 mg of THC and 300 mg of CBD, and is produced by Tecumseh, Ont.'s Peak Processing Solutions.
