Mets edge Braves, 3-1, as Pillar exits following scary HBP to face

The New York Mets defeated the Atlanta Braves, 3-1, on Monday night, but outfielder Kevin Pillar was forced to leave the game after being hit in the face by a pitch. Blood rushed from his nose and he was helped up before walking off the field under his own power.
