Linux BD-R bootable ramdisk from a currently installed distro.

I am interested in running Slackware off of a blueray disk. I want to take and install a system with the base programs I might need clean all the cruft out then image that system and boot via a bootable BD-R and have that system load into ram with no persistance saved on reboot. I have seen very little on the topic suposedly winiso can make a BD-R bootable iso file but that isnt very helpful to me. Some argue its too slow etc but thats ok. This system has 64GB ecc ram so it should be fine to experiment on.
Any takers on this most preplexing problem?
