Looking for new desktop system

I have been using PCLinuxOS for the past ahhhh 15 years and am tired of it's problems, also seeing the dwindling traffic on its forum am wondering about it's existence. I'm looking for a system much like PCLinuxOS which is - RPM - KDE - open root login - no sudo - Any info as to the existence of a like system would be much appreciated.
