SIGN WARS: The puns are coming hot and heavy on letter board signs around West Lincoln

One challenge led to another, and now the sign wars are all over the township.

The fun, punny signs were first spotted at Niagara Pallet. They have called out Big Country Raw, Stanpac, Turkstra, Home Hardware, and most recently Foodland," said William Reilly, Ward 3 councillor for West Lincoln.

I thought it was such a fun idea to help spread some positivity throughout the community," Reilly said as the reason he was spreading the message on social media.

These messages have been received really well by the community, with many people calling for more," Reilly said. One person commented on how much this had brightened up their day even. I think this was the pick-me-up we all needed during these difficult and depressing times we're all living through."

Reilly added the Township of West Lincoln has also issued a friendly call out to Lincoln and Grimsby, adding he is interested to see what they come up with.
