Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was back on the field for the first day of OTAs.

Burrow sported a brace on his left knee as he took part in light drills during Tuesday's session. He threw passes to various receivers, including first-round pick Ja'Marr Chase.

Burrow is working his way back after tearing his ACL and MCL during his rookie season. He told reporters Tuesday that his knee feels about 85%, according to Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The quarterback's doctor said last week that Burrow, who's six months removed from surgery, is on track to play in the Bengals' season opener. Burrow confirmed this timeline, stating that he aims to be "full go" for training camp, according to ESPN's Ben Baby. However, Burrow added he may still be limited when camp rolls around.

The 24-year-old didn't rule out participating in the preseason.

"I definitely want to play, I just don't know if it's the best thing for my knee. Hopefully, I can get a couple series in there to shake the rust off, we'll see," Burrow said, according to Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The Bengals selected Burrow first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He threw for 2,688 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 65.3% of his passes over 10 starts.
