pam_unix(runuser-l:session)
by junascad from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5JCEP)
Hi Everyone,
I'm seeing the following in my security logs, for all users on the system. Is this normal and what do these logs represent:
pam_unix(runuser-l:session): session opened for user X by (uid=0)
pam_unix(runuser-l:session): session closed for user X
They seem to appear every 4 hours, and both the opened and closed entries have exactly the same timestamp.
Thanks.
