suspend and hibernate not working properly on thinkpad e15

Dear all,
I just installed debian 10.9 on thinkpad e15 with 16GB of ram, the problem is that when executing :
Code:#systemctl suspendand after resuming, in few seconds the computer automatically reboots.
a similar issue with hibernate, when I executeL
Code:systemctl hibernatewhat happens actually is that the system shuts down!
Another problem is the trackpoint mouse with its buttons, it simply does not work.
Any hint or help is greatly appreciated !
