A 26-year-old from Ancaster is the co-founder of a new company that makes several scented mists."
Jessica Sheppard, along with co-founder Rhaelyn Gillespie, launched Taurah active wellness products in November.
The company promises products that are vegan, cruelty-free, synthetic-free and alcohol-free.
Sheppard and Gillespie, who met working at a Toronto tech startup, started working out at home during the pandemic and realized they weren't wiping down their mats and equipment like they would at the gym because they didn't have the appropriate products. In addition to a yoga mat cleaner, they have created scented body and room sprays, and a spray they say prevents mask-related breakouts.
