Playing No Man's Sky via Steam on Ubuntu.

I have been playing this game for a short while on Windows 10 and have seen that it can now be played on Linux Using Proton.

When I attempt this I get errors:

Unable to initialize Vulkan (vkCreateInstance failed)

Error initializing graphics drivers (vkEnumeratePhysicalDevices failed):VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

I have messaged the makers but don't really expect a reply and searching has not helped, so, I was wondering if anyone one these forums used NMS?
