RDP cannot copy folders
by mikek10 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5JTCH)
Hi,
I am a linux noob :(
I have a CentOS 7 distribution with XFCE installed, I have somehow managed to set it up so that I can connect via remote desktop from windows. I can copy files from the linux box to my windows PC without issue, however I cannot seem to be able to copy folders, which is a pain as I have a large folder structure that I need to copy.
I can select a folder and choose copy but when I try to paste it in Windows nothing happens. Files in the same location and within the folder and sub-folders will copy and paste OK but I have to create all the folder structure by hand :(
I am able to copy and paste the same folders within CentOS / XFCE when connected by RDP but not to the windows PC.
Thanks in advance for any ideas?
