cups.socket recognizes printer connected to another computer but doesn't print anything
by kkoistinen from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5K034)
Hello everyone,
I have printer connected to another computer which is using Linux Mint. I am personally using Arch Linux. I have enabled and started cups.socket service which seems to work in another computers using same printer (and running Arch with cups.socket) but so far I get no results. Programs don't freeze or anything, nothing just happens. Both text documents and pictures cannot be printed. cups.socket recognizes printer and gives it as an option when trying to print. Any ideas what to do to fix this?
