[SOLVED] Can't pick sound card
by NakedRider from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5K12Q)
I just reinstalled Slackware from scratch. I'm running -current. I have a built in sound card which doesn't work - never has. I also have a Creative Labs sound card.
For some reason my installation picked the on-board sound card. I can see an entry in System Settings and under device profiles it lists the card but says the profile is off.
How do I get KDE to pick my Creative Labs sound card? I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find a simple solution.
I tried this under installation and although it's getting some views there are no responses. Hopefully somebody here knows how to fix this.
Thanks for any help!
