Go karts back on the tracks

Wade Pearce told his mom that his run at Canadian Mini Indy Sunday was the fastest he had been travelling since the last time he raced.
The 11-year-old speedster raced last in November in Las Vegas.
Sunday, racers were back on the private Mini Indy track on Upper James and the adjacent pay-per-lap go-karting track at Cameron Speedway and Amusement. Under Ontario's Stage 1 opening, speedway users had to book times online to limit people at the track.
Only 10 of a possible 47 karts were being allowed on the track at a time.
Wade was happy to be back on the private track for his fourth season of racing.
His mom, Carmen, said he got his son into the motorsport because of his love of Formula One, and many of the big car pros started off in the smaller karts.
