Pat Larson created a clever mechanism that automatically plugs in his Tesla car charger whenever he comes home. The device uses a linear actuator, a servo motor, an ultrasonic distance sensor, Raspberry Pi computers and a camera that employs machine learning so that the plug always reaches the port
This is a project I've been working on. It's a mechanism to plug in my car automatically whenever I come home and start the charging process.
