swaywm now has libseat as a hard dependency, any opinions on installing libseat on slackware?

Libseat was previously a soft dependency (wlroots/sway vers. 0.13/1.6) , now (vers. 0.14/1.6.1) it is a hard dependency. How do you feel about adding it to your slackware64-current installation to use sway? Is it harmless or worrisome?
