The Boston Red Sox held off the Oakland Athletics in the tenth inning to win, 3-2. Eduardo Rodriguez went six strong innings giving up one hit and striking out six. Oakland's Elvis Andrus tied the game in the ninth, but the Red Sox scored in the top of the tenth to take the lead for good.
