GTX 1660 ti and H265 5k lagging when playing video

I am in need of playing 5k videos (h265). There is a massive lag.
I do not have any issue per se apart the lag when playing videos mentioned.
From my reading, the graphic card hardware seems to be perfectly Ok for decoding h265. Could the lag be due to a software (Driver) issue ?
I tested the video clip on a MacBook Air M1 from a friend and it plays with no issue.
What are my options to try to improve the playback of H265 videos in 5k ?
I am attaching a screenshot with version of nvidia driver.. I am using LTS on arch.
