Richard Branson completes flight to edge of space – video

The British entrepreneur Richard Branson has successfully flown to the edge of space and back in his Virgin Galactic passenger rocket plane, days ahead of a rival launch by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. 'I was once a child with a dream looking up to the stars,' Branson said. 'Now, I'm an adult in a spaceship.'

The rocket plane went into sub-orbital flight on Sunday morning, seventeen years after Branson founded Virgin Galactic to develop commercial spacecraft and cater to future space tourists
