SUGGEESTION: Home page "activity" indicators

Colleagues, Consider adding "activity" indicators to the LQ Home page. These might include a counter of NEW/ANSWERED POSTS in the current week regardless of which forum. Other indicators might include a of the top five(5) forums along with the respective counter of NEW/ANSWERED POSTS.
"Tag clouds" and similar are nice, but they consume a lot of page real estate. If such a cloud already exists [blush] perhaps the link could be more obvious.
These "activity" indicators would help assure visitors that LQ is alive and working even when their favorite forum or their personal questions might not see activity.
