The Stop the Sprawl crawl began at the Dundas Driving Park and made its way to Hamilton City Hall on Thursday, July 23, 2021 at 1:30 pm.
About 50 people showed up to speak up against urban sprawl. The grassroots campaign aims to freeze Hamilton's urban boundary as the city considers its growth. The Ontario government predicts that Hamilton's population will reach 820,000 by 2051, adding 236,000 more residents to the city limits.
