Does Kubuntu come with a EXECUTABLE damage feature?

Allo all,
This is about Krita.
So, I had downloaded the Krita source code, I changed it a little and compiled it.
I have Kubuntu 20.10
I installed Krita from Discover.
I deleted the EXECUTABLE which is at
/usr/bin/krita
and I placed my custom krita there.
It works but on the next day, it looks like my executable is gone and the original executable is back.
I thought I did something wrong so I did it again.
Later on, the original executable is back.
What is going on?
My modified Krita is here
https://sourceforge.net/projects/krita2/
It is version 4.3.0
Does Kubuntu come with a EXECUTABLE damage feature?
Is it like Windows 2000 where it does not let you change its files?
