Fedora 34 BTRFS compression?
by ddenial from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5MT92)
Hello All,
I'm about to install Fedora 34 BTRFS on a PC that is somewhat 5+ years old.
Chip is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM is : 8GB
Disk is: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 rpm
I'm planning to install it with LUKS2 encryption. It will not be used for gaming or any type of advanced video editing. Only for everyday regular use.
Should I go with LUKS encryption? Will it help if I disable compression in fstab?
Please suggest.
Thanks
