The Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms with veteran edge rusher Justin Houston, the club announced Saturday.

The deal is for one year and worth up to $4 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Houston reportedly fielded greater offers from other teams, but he rejected those deals to join the Ravens and pursue a Super Bowl ring.

Baltimore adds Houston to a pass-rushing corps that faces uncertainty after losing Matt Judon in free agency. Houston is coming off a two-year stint with the Indianapolis Colts when he posted 19 sacks, 30 quarterback hits, and three safeties.

The 32-year-old spent eight years with the Kansas City Chiefs before heading to Indianapolis. He produced a 22-sack campaign in 2014, and Houston eclipsed double digits two other times with Kansas City.

Baltimore opens its 2021 season Sept. 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. The Ravens will take on the Chiefs and Colts, Houston's former teams, in Week 2 and Week 5, respectively.
