SSH authenticity can't be established... ECDSA Key fingerprint
by andrewysk from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5MTKE)
Code:$ssh user1@123.456.789.100
The authenticity of host '123.456.789.100 (123.456.789.100)' can't be established.
ECDSA key fingerprint is SHA256:cdDZrkZGXs01lb5r1Q93qGPkNxd+EiMrre5C0o3dSZ1.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/[fingerprint])?I have being trying and learning ssh using a remote shell for whole day... login and log out.. modifying /etc/passwd file, /etc/ssh/sshd_config file... , restarting ssh daemon...etc
Have being ssh in the shell for so many times today without this kind of authenticity issue..
Then suddenly when i tried to login again, this fingerprint error prompted.. Why out of the blue ? What triggered such an prompting ?
What should i do ? just "YES" ?
Can someone please explain ?
Thanks
